Operations Associate

Wage information: $18/hour+
Reports to: Operations Director
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 2+ years work experience
Location: Kaysville Headquarters
Required travel: As needed
Date: Immediately

Ahdept, an exciting startup that merges the Internet of Things and AI,, is looking for a part-time Operations Associate to maintain the Monnit properties in Salt Lake City and Kaysville and help with other research and development projects. This position is perfect for someone that does not mind driving, running errands, and helping with maintenance of the office building in Kaysville and occasionally helping with the office building in Salt Lake City. Fuel will be reimbursed at the current IRS mileage rate for errands ran with a personal vehicle.

 

Job Duties:

  • Run errands as needed. This may include but not limited to the Great Salt Lake, other locations around the Davis and Weber County areas, and to the office in Salt Lake City.
  • Helps the research and development team keep projects running smoothly and efficiently through these timely errand runs.
  • Help Engineers with projects as needed.
  • Building and grounds maintenance, and general warehouse functions.
  • Participates as needed in projects located at the Salt Lake City facility.
  • Reports damage, defects and other issues pertaining to equipment and buildings.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
  • Performs other job-related duties or special projects as needed and assigned by management.

Requirements of the role:

  • Excellent organizing skills
  • Current and valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Dependable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and support a growing, family-oriented business
  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of general warehouse expectations for safety and teamwork.
  • Knowledge of basic hand and power tools. Safe and proper usage, right tool for the job.
